MEDITATION

--- MEDITATION (SKILL) ---

This skill increases a character's mana recovery while the character is
sleeping or resting. It is very similar to the FAST HEALING skill (which
increases hit point recovery) in that it is an automatic skill that does not
require any special commands. During each tick, a check will be made against
a character's rating in this skill. If the check passes, he/she regenerates
mana at a faster rate for that tick. If the check fails, he/she regenerates
mana at the normal rate.

Note that this skill is not directly connected to the MEDITATE social command.
MEDITATE displays a pose stating that your character has begun to meditate,
but it does NOT actually increase your mana regeneration rate. Only the
MEDITATION skill does that, and there are no special commands to enter to
activate the skill. You can use the MEDITATE social to inform other players
that your character is relaxing or settling in, but remember that social
commands are just empty poses and they do not actually affect your character
in any way.
