LORE

--- LORE (SKILL) ---

This skill enables a character to discover detailed information about a
particular object. The displayed information is identical to the information
that can be revealed through the use of the IDENTIFY spell. But while success
with the IDENTIFY spell depends on a characters rating in both the IDENITFY
skill and the SPELL CASTING skill, success with the LORE command depends
solely on a character's rating in the LORE skill. Each attempt to LORE an
item costs 100 movement points. For more details about the information this
