HAGGLE

--- HAGGLE (SKILL) ---

This skill represents a character's ability to successfully negotiate the
price of an item with a shopkeeper, wearing down the shopkeeper's resolve
until they agree to sell the item for less than the original price. If the
player has the HAGGLE option toggled (see HELP AUTO COMMANDS), he/she will
begin to argue the price of an item as soon as he/she attempts to BUY it.
Some shopkeepers are very intolerant of haggling, so this skill is not always
a guaranteed method of getting goods at cheaper prices. If the shopkeeper
refuses to haggle, or if the player's skill is not very good, the shopkeeper
may just end the negotiation and kick the player out.
